Quality Policy

Portir Transitários, Lda. through the commitment of its employees and its freight forwarding business: air, sea and land, provides high value services, with the aim of continually meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

In our daily activities we develop and adopt Quality Management Principles associated with development and Continuous Improvement, characterized as follows:

  • Paying attention to customer requirements, getting to know their opinion of the company, guarding against their dissatisfaction, correcting and improving processes and attitudes in order to provide for their purposes;
  • Promoting the appropriate selection of suppliers, fostering more advantageous partnerships for both parties, which enable the most appropriate mutual qualitative and commercial development;
  • Continuous monitoring of the quality levels achieved;
  • Promoting, developing and committing to new solutions and projects aimed at improving quality and/or profitability, as well as continuously improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System;
  • Making all employees responsible, promoting their involvement, motivated by the notion of the value that their own work represents for Clients, Colleagues and direct or indirect Managers;
  • Promoting team spirit and teamwork. Prioritizing continuous learning and improvement;
  • Recognition that the success of the business depends on people and their skills;
  • Taking legal and regulatory provisions into consideration, expecting the same behavior from our business partners;
  • Quality can and should be promoted freely by any employee, and it is the responsibility of Management to support and encourage initiatives that fall within the scope of this Policy.

This Policy must be understood and practiced by everyone, and serves as the basis for the Quality Management System, which is developed in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
